I am a Museum Professional working mainly with families and youths.I design programmes for these two groups to get them involved and inspired by objects and artworks in a various selection of Sharjah museums. I hold a Bachelor degree in Arts and Design, Zayed University, Dubai. I am currently presuming a 4 month diploma programme in UAE Heritage from the Ministry of Youth and Culture. I am also working on two paintings to be exhibited in the Sharjah Art Institute by the end of this year. I love photography but I am expecting a baby in the few coming months and this makes me involved in other interesting activities like shopping, and sleeping of course.

Hi All,

I'm participating in Venice Exhibition in conjuction with the Venice Biennial. The title of the exhibition is Emerge – Ways of Worldmaking. If you are somewhere around there take a look at it. This exhibition was curated by Janet Bellotto and Karen Oremus, both professors at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates.The exhibitions, held throughout various sites in Venice, will highlight works being developed by emerging female artists and designers, both students and graduates of the university. The exhibition will have its official opening at Palazzina 11, island of San Servolo, Venice, on June 5, 2009 at 11am, in conjunction with the Venice Biennial. Other exhibition venues include La Colomba, an infamous Italian restaurant located near the Saint Marco square, where artists like Picasso and Chagall traded their art for meals, various performances will take place on gondolas through the Venice waterways, and 3D gallery, Mestre, Venice, where the exhibition from San Servolo will rotate until November 2009.

My dear, i read in you id that you work at the Sharjah Art Museum.
I worked for SDCI last summer for my internship, i designed the poster for "the Islamic Arts Festival"... perhaps we met?

that's i believe the department of culture. I work solely for the Sharjah Museums Department (SMD)which oversees 17 museums. SMD has an education and interpretation department which has almost 10 education specialists specializes in creating educational programmes linked to the collection of the museum they are based in. I chose the art museum because it's more relevant to me as I studied art and design in Zayed University, graduate of spring 2007.
